Newcastle United came from behind to take their sixth win in seven games and move themselves even further away from the relegation zone.

Southampton took the lead through Stuart Armstrong before Chris Wood and Bruno Guimaraes scored their first goals for Newcastle who were able to hold on to a 2-1 victory.

The victory puts Newcastle in a comfortable place in the league as they are now ten points clear of the relegation zone.
