Nick Pope concedes first goal for NINE-AND-A-HALF hours of Premier League football and fails to become the first English keeper to keep seven clean sheets in a row after Luis Paqueta earns a point for West Ham in 1-1 draw with Newcastle

Nick Pope conceded a goal for the first time since November, as West Ham's Luis Paqueta halted Newcastle's impressive Premier League defensive record in the 1-1 draw at St James' Park.

The Magpies' goalie was going for a Premier League record of being the first English stopper to keep seven clean sheets in a row, and all seemed to be going to plan when Callum Wilson opened the scoring in the third minute for Eddie Howe's men.

However, just after the half-hour mark, a Hammers corner was swung in from the left and Paqueta was on hand to slot the ball past Pope and draw David Moyes level.
