Swansea City have ended their interest in signing Michael Obafemi following an injury to the Southampton striker.
The Swans wanted Obafemi on loan until the end of the season but the 20-year-old Republic of Ireland international suffered a muscle injury in training.
Meanwhile, Swansea have recalled Wales Under-21s defender Brandon Cooper from his loan at Newport County.
Swans have several defensive fitness concerns for Saturday's FA Cup third round match at Stevenage.
Former Manchester City centre-back Joel Latibeaudiere is their latest doubt with a calf injury, while Ryan Bennett and Kyle Naughton are also sidelined.
