Rob Edwards has been appointed as the new manager of Championship side Luton Town.

The club had been on the look out for a new boss after Nathan Jones decided to leave for Southampton.

Edwards was a free agent after he was sacked by Luton's rivals Watford in September, after just ten league games in charge.

Talks with Luton are at an advanced stage, with an agreement expected by tomorrow.

Watford appointed Edwards as manager back in May after helping guide Forest Green Rovers to the League Two title last season.
