Lille boss says Southampton close to deal for Morocco star Sofiane Boufal

Lille forward Sofiane Boufal is edging closer to joining Southampton, although the Premier League club's boss Claude Puel is refusing to discuss the potential deal.

Boufal's nearing a move according to Lille manager Frederic Antonetti, but Southampton are staying tight-lipped on the matter.

Saints are understood to be nearing completion on the deal to bring 22-year-old Boufal to St Mary's, but Puel refused to be drawn on the situation.
