Jesse Lingard has given a possible hint that he may not return to West Ham this summer with his loan deal set to end after today's game with Southampton.
The Manchester United midfielder has reignited his career since joining the Hammers on loan in January with nine goals and four assists in 15 games.
David Moyes has made no secret of the fact he would like to sign Lingard on a permanent deal at the end of the season but he could face competition for the 28-year-old.
Lingard told the official West Ham website that he will look back on his time at the Hammers positively no matter what happens in the future, but also added that he would be 'taking away' his memories.
