Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri admitted his side were fortunate not to lose against Southampton following their 0-0 draw at the King Power Stadium.
The Foxes were largely dominated by their opponents in Sunday afternoon’s Premier League clash and had wasteful finishing by the Saints to thank for securing a scarcely deserved point.
The Saints missed a number of chances in front of goal through Steven Davis, Nathan Redmond and in particular Charlie Austin, who proved to be the away side’s biggest threat, going closest with a thunderous effort in the first half that rattled the post.
