'I'd like to experience other things and not sit on the bench like Roy Hodgson at 74': Southampton manager Ralph Hassenhuttl reveals that he will consider RETIRING from management once his contract expires in 2024

Ralph Hassenhuttl has revealed he will consider retiring from football once his Southampton contract expires in 2024.

The Austrian joined the club in December 2018 and would become their longest serving manager since Chris Nicholl (1985-1991) if he sees out the remainder of his contract.

Hassenhuttl though has cast doubt on his Southampton stint as well as his career in football admitting he may want to call it a day.

He told German outlet Kicker, as reported by Hampshire Live: 'I always wanted to prove to myself that I could very well work for a club for a longer period of time.
