Crystal Palace 2-2 Southampton: Wilfried Zaha and James Ward-Prowse star as the spoils are shared in an entertaining draw at Selhurst Park

Crystal Palace and Southampton played out an action-packed 2-2 draw on Wednesday night at Selhurst Park.

Fresh off the back of their 3-1 win over Everton on Sunday, the hosts started the match full of confidence and took the lead inside two minutes through Wilfried Zaha, but Southampton hit back with goals from James Ward-Prowse and Armando Broja just after the half hour mark to turn the game on its head.

The visitors appeared on course to end their run of five league games without a win, only for Jordan Ayew to score from close range in the 65th minute to rescue a point for Patrick Vieira's side.
