Harry Kane once volleyed a penalty à la Cristiano Ronaldo but it did not end well for the Tottenham striker.

Ronaldo caused a stir on Wednesday night when he scored from a bouncing spot-kick during Real Madrid's 3-1 Champions League victory over PSG.

The Real icon slammed his left foot into the ground so forcefully that the ball bounced up off the spot and into the air before he fired past the goalkeeper.

But Tottenham star Kane's effort, against Southampton last season, did not end like Ronaldo's

Had the referee noticed the ball was moving when Ronaldo hit it, the goal would have been disallowed and the penalty retaken.
