Armed police and dog units storm bus in Southampton city centre and arrest two children, 12 and 13, in scenes compared to 'Hollywood movie'

Passengers were left shocked after armed police stormed a bus in Southampton and arrested two children, in scenes resembling a 'Hollywood movie'.

A Bluestar bus was boarded at around 6.30pm on Sunday on Bernard Street in the city centre.

Two children, aged 12 and 13, were arrested on suspicion of possessing a knife in a public place, Hampshire Police said.

Officers were called after reports of a person with a large knife in International Way.
