TAMPA, Fla., Dec. 18, 2021 – University of South Florida alumna was chosen in the second round of the NWSL Draft by the Portland Thorns at 13th overall on Saturday afternoon.
Nasello, who is the program's second-ever two-time All-American, helped lead the Bulls over the last four seasons to four conference championships, earning a title in each season she was on the team. Overall, she scored 24 goals and tallied 28 assists for 76 points in her 71 games wearing green and gold.
In addition to leading USF in all scoring categories in both of the last two years, Nasello finished her collegiate career with multiple top-10 finishes in the program record books.
