Women’s Soccer Adds Two to 2016 Class

TAMPA (Feb. 8, 2016)—Head coach Denise Schilte-Brown announced today the signing of two more players to the class of 2016. Kylee Burroughs and Nayeli Requejo will join the nine other student athletes who signed on National Signing Day.

Requejo hails from Whittier, Calif. Where she played for the Irvine Strikers. A transfer from UC-Irvine and Cerritos College, Requejo was the 2014 CCCAA National Player of the Year and a first team All-American. Requejo also won a national championship at Cerritos College. In two years of play, she logged 61 goals, 40 assists, and appeared in 49 games.
