TAMPA, September 30, 2023 – The University of South Florida volleyball team (10-6, 4-1 AAC) is off to its best conference start since joining the American Athletic Conference with a 3-0 sweep over the University of Alabama-Birmingham Blazers (2-15, 0-5 AAC) on Saturday afternoon in the Yuengling Center.
The Bulls defeated the Blazers with scores of 25-23, 25-13, and 25-13.
(Istanbul, Turkey) led the match with 17 kills, her 10 time with double-digit kills this season. (Sao Paulo, Brazil) recorded her fourth double-double of the season with 10 kills and 13 digs.
The Bulls fell behind the Blazers early in the match but battled back to tie the set at 23.
