TAMPA, Sept. 23, 2019 – Evelyne Viens and Andrea Hauksdottir were named to the Senior CLASS Award initial candidate pool of 30 seniors nationwide. The award is given annually to seniors who meet certain qualifications both on and off the field.
The Senior CLASS Award is given each year to a senior at a NCAA Division I institution who is going to exhaust their eligibility at the end of the current sports season. The senior must demonstrate notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition.
The candidate pool will be narrowed down to 10 finalists midway through the regular season.
