USF senior PF Alisia Jenkins has re-aggravated her sprained left ankle and is expected to be sidelined the next two weeks, the team announced earlier today.
The good news for the 15th-ranked Bulls: If the ankle mends as expected, Jenkins (10.2 ppg, 11.5 rpg) should return in time for USF's two biggest remaining regular season games, Feb. 15 at 17th-ranked Louisville and Feb. 29 at No. 1 Connecticut.
The Bulls play at UCF this afternoon.
"When you are missing a player like Alisia Jenkins it changes some things for us on both ends of the floor," Coach Jose Fernandez said in a USF news release.
