TAMPA (Jan. 18, 2021) – University of South Florida women's basketball standout Elisa Pinzan has been named the American Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 17, the conference announced Monday. The honor marks Pinzan's second AAC Player of the Week award of her career, all coming this season.
A senior point guard from Murano, Italy, Pinzan helped to guide the Bulls to victory in their lone game of the week, a 72-53 victory at Tulane on Jan. 13. The win improves USF to 10-1 overall and 7-0 in The American and extends their winning streak to a program record-tying nine games.
