TAMPA (Jan. 23, 2023) – University of South Florida women's basketball standout Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu was recognized by the American Athletic Conference as the league's Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 22, the conference announced on Monday. It marks Fankam Mendjiadeu's fifth conference honor of the season and the third time she has earned Player of the Week.
Fankam Mendjiadeu helped the Bulls to a 2-0 record last week with wins at Houston (58-56) on Jan. 18 and Central Florida (83-51) on Jan. 22. The win over the Knights extended South Florida's winning streak to eight games while also winning 10 of its last 11.
