USF’s Carter Helps Power Jamaica to Final Round of CONCACAF Caribbean Women's Qualifiers

TAMPA (May 15, 2018) — USF alumna Trudi Carter scored a goal in the 44^th minute for the Jamaican Women's National Team to help the squad draw Haiti, 2-2, and clinch a spot in the CONCACAF Caribbean Women's Qualifiers (CCWQ).

Haiti took a 2-0 lead with goals in the 24^th and 43^rd minutes, but Carter struck just a minute later to kickstart the comeback for the Jamaicans. She made easy work of a close-up opportunity in the 44^th minute, and her teammate found the equalizer in the 66^th minute.
