USF Women’s Soccer Secures a Wire-to-Wire Victory at UNC Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. (August 31, 2025) – The University of South Florida women's soccer team needed just 19 seconds to score the first goal of the match against UNC Greensboro on Sunday. Hedda Ornberg scored the fast goal as the Bulls (2-4) bested the Spartans (0-5) 1-0 from the UNCG Soccer Stadium.

After USF intercepted a pass from UNCG, Gentiana Fetaj turned and looked to get the attack started. She sent a perfectly placed through ball to the feet of Ornberg. Ornberg continued to dribble into the box before she beat the keeper to the bottom right corner of the goal.
