USF Women’s Soccer Falls to No. 21 South Carolina in a 90-Minute Battle

COLUMBIA, S.C. (August 17, 2025) – The University of South Florida women's soccer team battled No. 21 South Carolina for 90 minutes in Columbia on Sunday. Mia Rodach scored the first goal of her career, but the Bulls (1-1) fell to the Gamecocks (2-0), 3-1.

The Gamecocks scored the first goal of the match in the eighth minute and took a 1-0 lead into the break. South Florida and South Carolina each tallied five shots in the first half.
Mia Rodach scored her first college goal in the 52nd minute. After a ball was passed back to the goalkeeper, Rodach was able to steal the ball off the South Carolina keeper.
