USF Women’s Basketball Ranked #22 in AP Poll; Laksa Named espnW Player of the Week

USF back in the AP Poll

Fresh off taking Ohio State to woodshed, USF women’s basketball landed at #22 in the latest AP poll.

The Bulls haven’t been ranked in the AP top 25 since early January. OSU had the fifth-best RPI in college basketball prior to Sunday, which helped USF move up two spots to 27 in RPI rankings on Monday.

ESPN’s Bracketology has USF as a six-seed in the Albany region facing FGCU. They would get South Carolina in the second round if they won. The Bulls wouldn’t face UConn until the Elite Eight.
