Ten days before its season formally tips off, USF's women's basketball team has reached another significant milestone.
For the first time in program history, the Bulls are ranked in the Associated Press' preseason poll. USF, which returns all five starters from last season's 27-8 squad, is 20th in the AP's first rankings of the 2015-16 season.
The entire poll can be seen here. Last week, the Bulls received their first preseason ranking (19th) in the WBCA/USA Today coaches preseason poll.
"It's great that people are talking about USF basketball in the national spotlight," Coach Jose Fernandez said recently.
