GREENVILLE, N.C., (Oct. 24, 2025) – The University of South Florida volleyball team turned in a complete performance Friday evening, sweeping East Carolina 3-0 inside Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum. The Bulls won with scores of 25-14, 25-22, 25-19.
The win marked the Bulls' eighth conference victory and improved their overall record to 12-8 (8-1 American), continuing one of the program's strongest starts in recent seasons.
USF set the tone early, storming out to a commanding 25-14 win in the opening set behind steady serving and strong net play. The Bulls' offense stayed in rhythm throughout the second frame, erasing a mid-set deficit with a 5-0 run highlighted by back-to-back aces from Maria Clara Andrade and key kills from Laila Ivey to secure a 25-22 win.
