TAMPA, Sep. 24, 2025 – The University of South Florida volleyball team opened American Conference play on a high note Wednesday night, defeating Florida Atlantic 3–1 inside the Corral.
The Bulls (5-7, 1-0 American) defeated the Owls (9-5, 0-1 American) with scores of 21-25, 26-16, 25-23, and 25-21.
The night began with the Owls taking advantage of a few early USF miscues to grab momentum in the first set. South Florida responded quickly in the second, finding rhythm on both sides of the ball and using a decisive mid-set run to even the match with a commanding 25–16 finish.
