Tampa, Fla., March 21, 2023 – The University of South Florida track and field student-athletes Kobe Babin, Stone Baker, and Shevioe Reid were named American Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week in track and field, the league announced on Tuesday.
Baker and Babin, nominated for the AAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week, tied for a first-place finish in the men's pole vault at 5.10 meters (16-8.75) this past weekend at the USF Bulls Invitational.
Reid, nominated for the AAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week, holds the fastest time in the NCAA as of March 22nd, after finishing first in the 200m dash with a time of 20.
