TAMPA, Fla., March 12, 2022 – The University of South Florida softball team earned its fifth straight shutout victory with a 1-0 decision in eight innings against Stony Brook on a chilly Saturday afternoon. South Florida improves to 21-3 on the season and has won 13 straight games.
(Sanford, Fla.) threw her 80 career complete game, setting a new program-record by passing 's (1996-99) 79. The pitcher hasn't allowed a run in 76.1 innings in the circle or an earned run in 82.1 innings.
Pitchers dueled throughout the game. While Corrick worked through multiple threats to keep the game scoreless, so did Dawn Bodrug for Stony Brook.
