IRVING, Texas, January 16, 2024 – The University of South Florida softball team was voted to finish fourth in the Preseason Coaches' American Athletic Conference Poll, the league office announced on Tuesday.
The Bulls finished third in the 2023 season with a 32-24 overall record, 10-7 in the AAC. They return 16 players from last season's team and add 14 to the 2024 team.
Wichita State was voted to finish first, followed by newcomers Charlotte and North Texas. Wichita State and Charlotte are the only two AAC teams to have made it to Regionals in 2023.
