TAMPA, Feb. 25, 2024 – (Gibsonton) pitched her third complete game of the season in the University of South Florida softball team's (10-5) shutout win over the Yale Bulldogs (1-4) on Sunday afternoon. The Bulls won with a score of 6-0.
South Florida took the early 1-0 lead in the second inning. (St. Petersburg) and (Wesley Chapel) got on base and then advanced into scoring position on a sacrifice bunt from (Salinas, Puerto Rico). A sacrifice fly from (Tampa) gave South Florida the early lead.
The Bulls added to their lead in the fourth and fifth innings.
