TALLAHASSEE, Fla., May 17, 2025 – The University of South Florida softball team fell to No. 5 Florida State in the winner's bracket of the Tallahassee Regional on Saturday. The Bulls (44-15-1) were knocked off by the Seminoles (47-9) 8-0, in six innings.
Anne Long got the start in the circle for the Bulls and went 5.0 innings in the loss. She fell to 7-5 on the season. She struck out two batters. She surrendered five earned runs on six hits. McKenna Schroding allowed three earned runs and faced three batters in the sixth inning.
