TAMPA, Fla., Feb. 27, 2022 – The University of South Florida softball team posted its fifth shutout of the season and fourth of the weekend in a 2-0 victory over St. John's to wrap up a five-game weekend slate.
(Sanford, Fla.) made her 110 career start in the circle, setting a new program record by passing 's and Sara Nevins' 109 starts. She earned her eighth win of the season, along with her sixth complete game and third shutout effort.
(Sarasota, Fla.) finished the day three-for-four at the plate and drove home the game-winning run.
