TAMPA (Oct. 12, 2022) – The University of South Florida men's soccer team closed out its 2022 nonconference schedule on Wednesday night with a tough 3-2 loss to instate foe Stetson at Corbett Stadium. The Bulls fall to 3-4-3 overall on the year while the Hatters improve to 4-2-5.
Despite the setback, the Green and Gold are unbeaten in five of their last six matches, and in their last five American Athletic Conference outings.
South Florida dominated the majority of the match outshooting Stetson, 18-9, including a 12-3 margin in the first half and a 5-2 shots-on-goal advantage during the first 45 minutes of play.
