TAMPA, Fla, Dec. 15, 2025 – University of South Florida freshman Tristan Beckford was named The American Conference Freshman of the Week following his breakout performance in the Bulls' 81-75 win over the College of Charleston on Dec. 10 at the Yuengling Center.
Beckford recorded career highs with 17 points and nine rebounds, providing a spark off the bench to help keep South Florida undefeated at home this season. The forward was six-of-nine from the field, with four free throws, one assist, two blocks, and one steal.
The 17 points marked the most by a USF freshman this season, while his nine rebounds were second on the team in the contest.
