TAMPA (October 4, 2021) – The University of South Florida women's tennis team kicked off its 2021 Fall campaign this past weekend in the annual Bedford Cup and recorded solid showings in its first time out on the courts this season. The Bulls had multiple players advance to the semifinal and final rounds in both doubles and singles during the three-day event at USF's Varsity Tennis Courts, Oct. 1-3.
Freshman (Frisco, Texas) turned in a solid showing in her first collegiate matches, going 4-1 in singles and advancing the Bedford Cup finals, falling in three sets to Isabella Colmenares of Florida Gulf Coast, 5-7, 6-1, 5-7.
