TAMPA, FLA., Aug. 4, 2025 – USF Football quarterback Byrum Brown has been named to the Walter Camp Player of the Year Watch List for the second time on his career.
Brown was among 45 players, two from the American Conference, named to the preseason watch list for the award. First presented in 1967, the Walter Camp Award is presented annually by the Walter Camp Football Foundation to the most outstanding player in college football.
Brown, who also earned recognition on the watch list entering the 2024 season, returns from an injury-shortened season last year that saw him miss all but two snaps in the final eight games.
