Seffner Christian WR Christian Helms will stay in Hillsborough County for his college football career.
Helms announced via Twitter on Monday night that he will join USF as a preferred walk-on for the 2019 season. He’ll be on a full academic scholarship, allowing some flexibility for the few athletic scholarships the Bulls have left for their 2019 class.

The senior was selected to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2018 Hillsborough County All-Star High School Football Game in December after a breakout final year.
Helms became a major part of the Crusaders’ offense in 2018, helping Seffner Christian improve from 1-8 in 2017 to an 11-1 record in 2018.
