USF Football Moves Up in AP Poll, Enters Coaches Poll

TAMPA, FLA., OCT. 12, 2025 – South Florida football moved up five spots in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll and returned to the USA Today Coaches Poll for the first times since 2018 following a 63-36 rout at previously unbeaten North Texas on Friday.

The Bulls (5-1; 2-0 American) checked in at No. 19 in the AP Poll, leap frogging Memphis (No. 22) as the highest ranked team in The American, and debuted at No. 23 in the Coaches Poll. South Florida posted 580 yards – 306 on the ground – and logged a program-record third-straight 50-plus point game in handing UNT its first loss in front of a soldout crowd in Denton, Texas.
