ORLANDO, OCT. 21, 2015– USF won the first set, but could not hold on as the volleyball team lost to UCF 3-1 (16-25, 25-19, 25-18, 25-20) Wednesday in Orlando.
Junior Dakota Hampton recorded her sixth consecutive double-double with 10 kills and 13 digs. Freshman Molly Burkhardt also recorded a double-double with 12 digs and a team-high 21 assists. Joining Burkhardt with double-digit assists was sophomore Alex Mendoza with 15.
“We did a great job with the serving and blocking game,” said head coach Courtney Draper. “However, our offense was not on point tonight and when you struggle to side out, it’s hard to win the match.
