TAMPA, OCT. 17, 2017 – The Bulls could not overcome a two-goal deficit Tuesday night as the University of South Florida men's soccer team lost 2-1 to No. 11 FIU at Corbett Stadium. A late comeback fell short in nonconference action.
USF (6-5-1) fell behind early, trailing No. 11 FIU (9-0-3), 1-0, in the 22nd minute. The Panthers scored again in the 63rd minute for a 2-0 lead. The Bulls converted one of their nine second-half shots in the 75th minute. USF was awarded a penalty kick after a FIU handball.
