TAMPA, SEPT. 20, 2017 – Conference favorite USF wants to flip the script on Temple and it's going to take some tough man football to get the job done.
In an attempt to avenge last season's loss to the Owls, head coach Charlie Strong is looking for his much improved defense to win the battle in the trenches Thursday night at Raymond James Stadium.
"We have to stop the run," Strong said. "If we can force them to throw the football, then it gives us a chance to apply pressure and do the things we can do.
