TAMPA, May 2, 2025- The University of South Florida baseball team (24-19; 12-7 American) fell to the UTSA Roadrunners (35-10, 16-3 American) to open the series on Friday night at Red McEwen Field at the USF Baseball Stadium. The Bulls fell with a final score of 11-5.
South Florida still holds second place in the AAC standings. The Bulls are four games behind the UTSA Roadrunners (15-3). The Bulls have a one-game lead on Charlotte, who fell to Rice earlier today.
South Florida struck early, scoring twice in the second and third innings to grab a 4–1 lead.
