USF Baseball Loses 4-0 to South Alabama to Force Winner Takes All Game in Gainesville Regional

The South Florida Bulls baseball fell 4-0 to No. 3 seed South Alabama on Monday after the game was suspended Sunday night after rain forced a two hour delay in the NCAA Gainesville regional to force a decisive final game later today.

The Jaguars took a 3-0 lead in the third inning after back-to-back bloop singles found a home, and 2B Hunter Stokes hit a three-run home run to left field. They added another run in the fourth inning to extend their lead.

USA’s pitching combination of Matt Boswell, and Tyler Perez shutout a very hot USF offense by scattering just four hits combined all game.
