DeLAND, APRIL 29, 2025- The University of South Florida baseball team (24-18; 12-6 American) fell to the Stetson Hatters (30-16, 18-3 ASUN) on Tuesday night at Melching Field. The Bulls fell with a final score of 5-3.
South Florida still holds second place in the AAC standings. The Bulls are three games behind the UTSA Roadrunners (15-3). The Bulls have a one-game lead on Charlotte, and a two-game lead on Florida Atlantic, Tulane, and East Carolina.
South Florida struck early with two runs in the first inning, taking advantage of shaky control from Stetson starter Turner Spoljaric.
