The University of South Florida announced today that Deputy Director for External Operations Scott Kull will become the interim Athletic Director after the recent departure of Mark Harlan, who went to the University of Utah in the same role.

“In a short period of time, Scott has made a great impact on our athletic department. He understands the trajectory of USF Athletics and will ensure that we continue moving forward without interruption during the search process,” USF Systems President Judy Genshaft said.
Kull joined USF in 2016 after spending 11 years working as the Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Operations at TCU among other positions within the department.
