The Streak is Over: USF Men’s Tennis Falls 4-3 to Tulane in AAC Tournament Championship

USF men’s tennis’ four-year reign as champion of the American Athletic Conference came to an end in Sunday’s AAC title match in Dallas, dropping a down-to-the-wire 4-3 decision to Tulane.

The Bulls jumped out to a 1-0 lead on the Green Wave when Peter Bertran/Jacob Wojick defeated Luis Erlenbusch/Tim Ruetzel (6-2) and Pierre Luquet/Sean Burnette defeated Tyler Schick/Hamish Stewart (6-4) to claim the doubles point.
