CINCINNATI, Ohio, Oct. 29, 2016 – Sophomore Jessica Taylor earned all-conference honors by placing 10th at the American Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships Saturday morning at Voice of America Metropark in Cincinnati.
One year after placing 19th at the conference meet as a freshman, Taylor (St. Johns, Fla.) covered the 6K course in a personal-record time of 21:11.2 to finish among the top 15 and take home a medal. Her previous best was 21:27 at last season’s championships.
Her 10th place finish was the highest finish of any USF runner at The American Championships.
