TAMPA (April 7, 2021) – City of Tampa Mayor Jane Castor has declared April 8th as USF Women's Basketball Team Day in honor of the Bulls' history-making journey to win their first-ever American Athletic Conference regular-season and tournament titles, and a spot in the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament.
Mayor Castor will present the team with a proclamation at 4 p.m. in the brick courtyard between Old City Hall and the Tampa Municipal Office Building as part of the day's festivities.
USF posted a 19-4 overall record, and a 12-2 mark in The American, and capped off an unprecedented season with its seventh NCAA Tournament appearance, and its sixth trip to the Big Dance in the last nine years.
