Longtime USF Athletics administrator a trailblazer for women in sports
TAMPA, Feb. 1, 2021 – USF Athletics celebrates the career and achievements of longtime athletics administrator Barbara Sparks-McGlinchy and her role as a trailblazer for women's sports as part of the 36th Annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day.
The annual day of observance held during the first week of February acknowledges the accomplishments of female athletes, recognizes the influence of sports participation for women and girls, and honors the progress and continuing struggle for equality for women in sports.
