TAMPA (Feb. 20, 2023) – University of South Florida women's basketball standout Elena Tsineke was recognized by the American Athletic Conference as the league's Player of the Week, for the week ending Feb. 19, the conference announced on Monday. It marks Tsineke's second Player of the Week honor of the season and the third of her career.
Tsineke helped the Bulls to a 2-0 record last week with wins over Central Florida, 73-44, in Orlando in the regular season finale of the War on I-4, and at home against SMU, 70-62, to win their second AAC regular season title in the past three years.
