Tampa, Fla. Feb. 28, 2024 – University of South Florida track and field student-athletes Abdul-Rasheed Saminu and Shevioe Reid become the program's 13th and 14th-ever qualifiers for the NCAA Indoor Championships. The duo will compete in Boston, Mass. on March 8 and 9, 2024.
Saminu enters the NCAA championships seeded 11th in the men's 60m dash. His qualifying time (6.57) came last weekend during the American Athletic Conference Championship trial round and set a new program record.
Saminu arrived to South Florida in January, a junior and transfer from Florida Memorial University.
